TEXAS CENTER FOR OBESITY SURGERY

The surgeons of the Texas Center for Obesity Surgery have been helping patients lead healthier and happier lives for over 10 years. Drs. Hamn and Cribbins provide the latest in surgical techniques as well as the proper counseling, support and dietary planning to achieve success.

We focus on the new LAP-BAND procedure and Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass surgery as they have provided consistent, successful results. Many diseases are associated with obesity, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, orthopedic complaints, reflux disease, cancer, depression and many others. As you lose weight, these conditions improve or resolve altogether, resulting in a healthier and happier patient.

Preparation is the key to a successful bariatric surgery. At the Texas Center for Obesity Surgery (in Plano, TX just north of Dallas, TX), we extensively evaluate and educate each patient to develop the best possible plan for overcoming morbid obesity.

Our devoted staff is trained to understand the needs of our patients. Counseling is a major part of the bariatric surgery process, and we strive to provide each of our patients the support and motivation needed to reach their weight loss goals. Several staff members are bariatric surgery success stories themselves. Others have extensive knowledge of bariatric surgery both in and out of the operating room. Our bariatric coordinators have years of experience with the insurance company approval process.
